The start vs the end of semester 1

     On 25th Of July, my life as a student was starting in Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech Mara. In that day, I was really nervous and scared to faced my new life. Before this, every Monday in school, I wore school uniform but today, I did not wear it. I just wore formal dress for my first class. I came to my campus at 8 am but I do not know where is my class. Firstly, I went to coordinator's room for asking my section and my time table for class. After I check my first class start on 9 am. I still got another time to walk around campus for familiar around their surrounding.

       Time showed 9 am, and I am still looking for my class. My class is at CR4.23. That is mean level 4, but where is another 23. I really cannot found it. I check carefully class by class and finally I found my class. I was really  nervous to enter the class. When I opened the door, I looked only a few students there. That is mean, they are my new classmate. I am try to introduce myself to them. I tried to comfort myself in my new class. 

     The first week, we only do some ice breaking for starting, so we do not have class. I can know all my new classmates name. There are 25 students only. Not really much. Many types of personality I was found. I already have a new friends. Their name is Shahirah, Nadia, Fiena, Umie, Humaira, Nad and Liyana. Some of them, stayed in Kuala Lumpur with their parents same like me, but some of them are stayed far from here. They stayed in hostel KUPTM. I am always stick together with them in class and lunch time.

     A few weeks later, my lecturer started gave us an assignment. We have to do in group. So, of course I will do with them. We broke to two groups because lecturer wanted one group only four people. I was really enjoyed doing my assignment with them. They shared their knowledge and ideas. We always can finished early and on time when do assignment. If we got a quiz or test. We always studied together. They always helped me when I got problem with my subject like Business Accounting and Financial Mathematics. The assignment that I cannot forgot was roleplay. We have to act like an actress. It was really enjoyed. We coorperate each other to remember script. It was the best memories for us.

     After been through 14 weeks, our finals is around the corner. We only have one week to study. In week 14, we finished our last class with all lecturers. I was really enjoyed with the lecturers. They gave us moral support moral support. They knew that we can score A and get 4.0 CGPA in semester 1. The important things is we should study and make some revision. I hoped that I still can saw my semester 1 classmates in semester 2. Many starting and ending in semester 1 is such a great memories for me to remember.

a movie I would recommend my lecture

           A movie I would recommend to my lecture is Pitch Perfect 2 .  The best part of this movie are the true frienships among them and how their life become a college student .

           Now , lets me explain a little bit what is the story about ?  This movie show us the life of Beca,  a teenager who is the main character . She comes from a family which her parents are divorced . It started where she is the freshman in the college and her father want his daughter to be a common university student . Joining club and attending class as what a common university student did . However , she wants to be DJ , mashing and remixing the song and she even got a part time job in the music store . Her adventure in university began as the Audrey , the leader of the Barden Bellas is doing the recruitment of new members of the Barden Bellas , all-female a cappella group in her university . At one point  , they all argue quarrel and disagree with each other's behaviour and opinion. With all play and all fight among The Barden Bellas members , in the end we could watch the twist transformation as they turned into a new leaf from air stewardess dress style to blinking and bright leather - like clothing .

           What a group of people would like to watch this film ? Teenagers and family . Mostly youngster love to watch this genre of movie because it tells about college student life . It is fun to watch together with someone we loved and cared so much while eating snacks .

           All movies teach a lesson . What did the moral of this movie ? From all of the opinion among members in our group , one of the moral values that I get fro this movie is that effort does not betray us . If we fail im reaching our goal that means that we do not put lots of effort to achieve our goal . We also learned that frienship is the precious moment that we wish it could last forever . Even they quarrel a lot and disagree with each other , in the end their change of view finally paid off with the combination of specialities and talent they had , their marvellous performance not only becomes the history to the Barden Bellas but they show how strong their chemistry is as a team . Their unity turned them to be strong , both individually as well as a group .

Reflection on my role-play

     Last week, my class do a role play activities which is the theme is school. All students in my class must perform because the teacher will give marks to students and judging by each acting. Many interesting content found in a Role-Play game, which is villains, heroes, betrayal, love, friendship, romance, fantasy and evil. 

     I think a role-play is a great activity because it allow us as student escape from reality. Role-play also can leaving behind all the stress and problem. It also can relax our mind. Role playing is very important because it gives us as individuals the opportunity to put ourselves in place of the other character. It can improve the courage ourselves to stand and perform our role-play in front of all the students in the classroom and also our lecturer. I only had the chance to role play at my collage because at my secondary school I did not had a chance to do a role play at school. The experience was fun because we all gave our responses which were quite different.

     Next, what can we do to improve our role-play is practice every day with our group to get the best character and the perfect character. The game will be more interesting when your character is realistic and perfect. After that we try to adapt ourselves to empathize with each character. We also practice to remove our timidity when we do these activities. Many people to be shy when performing their role-play and our group want to try to remove our shyness and just enjoy when do it that game.

     I think the role-play could help me in speaking English. When I practice our role-play, it also can help me to improve my language and my speaking English. Role playing is a popular activity in communicative language-teaching classes. I think our lecturers hold activities such as that for all students can improve and repair their speaking English skill. Our language will be perfect because we practice every day. 

     Lastly, it was uncomfortable at first because i feel like under pressure not to make a mistake but then I start to improvise and it all comes together. I actually always laughed when we role played the characters of the play until I felt comfortable with the character. We will find a lot of fun when do a role-play.

My Thoughts On Early Marriage

     Marriage is relationship between husband and wife . They have to live together until the last breathe. Marriage is like an agreement between two of people that falling in love,want to build family and have a child to continue their generation . Nowadays , marriage is like a trend that people want to follow . Many people want to get early marriage especially for those who had boyfriend or girlfriend . For me , as a teenager and student , my thoughts on early marriage is bring many difficulties on a person such as pregnancy , gives many pressure and commitment . We have to share all our life for him or her . 

     Basically , early marriage because of pregnancy . Families are afraid that if their daughter ends up pregnant before marriage. For me , if we have a relationship with someone , we have to behave and take care of our dignity . Do not gives all your life for a man before marriage . We have to achieve our goals first . Try to get a new house , new car and gives happiness to family first . After that you can think about marriage . Do not ruin your life if you not ready to married . We also have to protect our self from sexual activity which causes to end up pregnant . Our mind is not matured anymore to handle many problems in marriage . This will causes divorce at early age .

     Early marriage also gives many pressure . This is because , we cannot settled problem between husband and wife like an adult people . As a wife , we have to do household works like cooking , washing cloth and cleaning up house . It is very difficult to do if we are student , we have to divide our time for husband and study . It will give us some pressure if cannot manage time properly . Study also will effects if we did not making an assignment and failed in exams . 

      Next , as a husband and wife we are committed each other . In early age of marriage , we have to think about commitment . We need to take care of his or her heart . We cannot simply judge that our mate understand that we have to finish an assignment . We still have to finish our household working. Besides, we also have to inform to our husband or wife that we coming back late. We have to report all of our activities everyday . For me , we as a teenager are not ready for all this things because it will cause fight and misunderstanding between each other . 

    As a conclusion , for me as a teenager and student , my thoughts on early marriage is bring many difficulties on a person such as commitment , gives many pressure and pregnancy. Enjoy our life as a teenager first , no need to think about marriage because Allah will gives us the time for married . Catch your dream first and be a rich person and your parent will support you to get married .

I Like Social Media

Social media is commonly used by people all around the world especially teenagers, such as myself. Nowadays, there is a lot of social media network such as twitter, instagram, facebook and others platform. there are a few reasons why i like social media, for instance, social media make communication easier, social media allowed me to find my common ground in an open society and I can get how-to-do tips about my fashion from other people who co-joined or follow me using my social media.

 One of the reason is social media make communication easier. Hence, social media make it easier for me to engaged with a person distance away. Plus, most social media platform allows the users to check instantaneously and also allowed the user to share their opinion and day and this make staying in touch with other people much more convenient.

Next, social media allowed me to find ground in an open society. I can share and express my passion with other people using social media platform such as blogger and pinterest. Furthermore, i can get to how-to-do tips about my passion from  other people who co-joined or follow me using my social media such as facebook allowed user to connect with people with the same interest with them

 Social media also make it easy for me to find information. Social media platform such as twitter have a special function with listed trending issue of the day, this function help me keep me up to date.

 In conclusion, that's all the reason why i love social media because it is easy to communicate, allowed me to find ground and easy to get information. All of us know that there's a pros and cons about the uses of social media. however it is our own responsibility on how to use it whether n a good or bad way. Hence, we need to use social media wisely for own sake.

Regarding your biggest fear

       Everyone experiences fear, but each person experiences it differently. No matter how big we are, we all have fears. We all have that natural sense of fear in our mind. My biggest fear in life is being alone. I believe loneliness is the most horrific thing in life. Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than just the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person.

       When I was little, I was too afraid to sit alone. No matter how situation, I still have to have a friend to accompany me. My mother had left me at the village when I was little and I was afraid to stay at the village with my grandmother and my aunt. I cannot be away from my family and I don’t know why I cannot part with family and why did I feel scared too much. When I sleep, I often had a dream that creeps and I often woke up at 2 a.m. until 3 a.m.. The next day I had a high fever.

       When I started school, I'm afraid to be alone in school. I will walk with my friends whether I want to go to the canteen, to the staff room and toilet. I cannot walk alone at school because I was afraid. I also was afraid to go up the elevator alone to get home. I was able to climb stairs to get to my house and able to bearish the stairs to get to school. I felt very scared because there was a woman trapped in an elevator in my house alone.

       Now I dared myself to sit alone. I sit at home alone and I had to overcome my fear by listening to songs. When I heard the song, I would feel a little peace. I also dared to go to work and back home from work alone. I also felt fear for the first time I walk home alone at night. Later I was feel normal and not afraid anymore. Until now I'll come home from work alone. I also being brave to ride the elevator alone because I was tired to climb the stairs after returning from work to get to my house.

Everyone has their own fears and have their own ways to solve their own fears

My Favourite Fictional Character

    I would like to be Captain America from the movie Avenger. Most people would assume this due to his superhuman abilities and his courage. His real name in that movie is Steve Rogers. The real reason I want to become Captain Americais because of his impact towards many people. As a girl, I always admired him because of his attitude and appearance. He is also strong and has a great body shape bulid. He was the ideal superhero, saving lives and someone who is down to earth. Eventhough he has live for many years but he still can saves the world from disaster.

   Captain America is the first Avenger to defeat Hydra. Hydra is the association (group) that always come with a plan to rule the world. If I could become Captain America, I would keep the world safe. I would be able to help thousands of people within a matter of minutes. People would not have to worry about crimes, or having to look over their shoulders out of fear of being robbed or attack.

     Besides, Captain America also good in friendship. His friend is Bucky. They know each other from his army camp. They are really close. In one of the movies of Avenger, Captain America the Winter Soldier , he thought that Bukcy was dead but Bucky was kidnapped by Hydra and been used as a weapon for killing. Captain America still hoped that Bucky can be changed and value their friendship. I hoped that my friendship is like Captain America and Bucky.

    He is also someone who stands by his principle without being manipulated by different opinion. For example,we can take it from movie Avenger the Civil War. Captain America and Iron Man (Tony Stark) have a different opinion when U.S Secrectary of State Thaddeus Ross informs the Avengers that the United Nations (UN) is preparing to pass the Sokovia Accords, which establish a UN panel to oversee and control the team. The team is divided : Iron Man (Tony Stark) supports oversight because of his role in Ultron's creation and Sokovia's devastation, while Captain America has more faith in his own judgement than that of the government.

     Captain America has an aura of reassurance about him, it is as though his presence alone can make the direst situation seen safer, as though you know everything will be alright. He is a prime example the expression "Truth, Justice and the American Way", living out the life that every American should a life of honesty, morality and integrity. For all these reasons, that is why I would choose to become Captain America.

The must have dishes in my hometown

 Malaysia itself have a various delicious and marvellous food and dishes from the south to the north. For me being a mixed blood, Malaysia-Indonesia gave me a special trip to hunt and travel about popular and some unique dishes from both country. As mine there are two dishes that i just fell in love with them and people out there should give a try and do not forget to check it out it first.

First, my most favourite from where I can get take out is a Pasemboq. I absolutely love so much Pasemboq which I believe is Penang in origin. Basically it is delicately from main ingredients flour added by some vegetables like 'sengkuang', chopped cucumber and carrot, prawns and chickens, boiled egg. Then the special part of the Pasemboq ingredients is it dressing 'kuah kacang'. mostly I could eat them day and night and i used to love my homemade ones.

Today, I happen to love Bakso, my beloved mother, Indonesian origin, is a very professional and talented masterchef when cooking her country dishes. I eat it a lot for lunch and dinner. It is rarely hard to find in our country. Meat balls in Bakso is so mouth watering as you chew fresh meat, boiled meat or grilled meat. It is very different and too special soup than ours. Bakso, I really recommend it if you get a chance to try it. Very highly recommended.

My Favourite Song

     Music is an amazing thing. Music comes in many different types, styles and genres. The motivational songs or inspirising lyrics can motivate us to accomplish our goals and our target in our life. 

     My favourite song is 'Buatmu Ibu' by Aeman. This song was meaningful. I felt very sad when I heard this song. This song is always played when I was camping at school. Every time I heard this song, I must be thinking of my mother who was at home. I wondered how my mother raised me from my birth until now by tirelessly. How's my mother when I was in my mother's womb?. How much pain my mother's face during her childbearing? 

     My mother treated I and my siblings equally and full of love. When I was young, I was given the perfect upbringing. In addition, my father was worked hard to support our families. My father never complained about the problems his faced. My siblings and I were not caressed with richnes, but we caressed by a loving. My parents gave me pocket money from my childhood until now. When I was young, my parents did not give a lot of money for me but it was enough for me. When I was growing up, I just found out that my parents had opened a savings account for my money and my other siblings.Every year my parents had put some money into my account and my siblings account. I am honored and grateful to have parents who are always concerned about their children

     When I hear this song, I feel like this song gives spirit and serve as an inspiration to me to succeed. I want to repay all the kindness of my parents. This song also can motivate myself.I will think how my father working so hard to find the money to support our family. I also thought how my mother looked after me and my siblings when we were young and can manage the time perfectly.


     Thank you for all the support, concerned and love you had given me. Thank you for being here whenever I needed it, and even I didn't need it. Thank you for teaching me respect and proper etiquette. I would not be here without you, mom and dad. One day I will repay all your kindness and I will accomplish my dreams and success.

My Idol

      An idol is a person who has big impact on your life . I consider my mom as my idol because I have been know her since I was born . She is the most important person in my life . She has influenced not only my life but to whole of my family .
      My mom's name is Nuryasni bt Mohd Nuri . Her age is 44 years old this year . I am very proud of her because she have been through many things in her life and still can smile . In 2003 , my dad had passed away while my mom was pregnant . She was to sad and frustrated but never showed it to me and still can make me laugh . In that time , I was only 5 years old . I dont know everything . Now I am getting bigger I know my mom have been through a thug life . She take care of me and my younger brother nicely . My mom is working as businesswoman at night market . She dont like to work under any company because she want to watch us every single day. My mom do not want us to feel neglected . She has worked very hard in her entire life to make sure me and my younger brother have everything that we need and do not lack anything.
      Besides, she always gives us spirit about study and never disappoint our wishes . I love her so much . She can be my father also . She tried hard to give us the best education and will make sure we will get a good score in exam . She always pray to God that we will gain success . In 2013 , I was in Form 3 and will take PMR examination . I was to nervous and scared . But I was grateful because my mom was besides me and hugged me before I entered the hall exam . A few months later , the PMR's result was coming and once again I had nervous to take my results . My mom was holding my hand and walked beside me before I took it from my class teacher . When I showed my result to my mom she was crying and hugged me . She said to me "Well dear, you did it" . I looked my result and felt very happy because I got 7A's . That is my first time to see my mom's cried proudly and told to whole of my family that I've got the best results in my school.
   I have a big question in my mind "What can I do to pay back my mom's love since I was born? What I have to do?  I only can study hard in the college and be a good girl . I will do the best for her because she is my everything so I will do anything for her .
   This is only can I described about my idol as known as my mom . She is the best idol I can described it. She will be my idol forever and ever . I love you mom.

MERDEKA FROM THE EYES OF MY PARENTS

The birth of Malaysia as we all know that the first movement cries echoed at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur  . Shouts transformed  headed by Prime Minister of Malaysia's first Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj Ibni son of the late Sultan Abdul Hamid Shah . They do it with full of spirit and feel blessed by all the people that time in Malaysia . At 31 August 1957 whole people's assembly in Dataran Merdeka is to celebrate victory and thankful been free from colonial grip on time .

Malaysian born before independence and the taste remains a hard life under British colonies and other countries outside of the country who are trying to conquer Malaysia country at the time . Loyalty and their union is very strong . They are able to work together and help each other in any situation . They are very strong spirit of independence . In addition , our parents still have the spirit of independence . It proved that the previous highly appreciate and have a very deep sense of independence . 

 

The celebration is often greeted with excitement and enthusiasm no matter their age . Celebration often celebrated in many ways . For example , flag in front of the house , in the car and various other ways . It thus proves and demonstrates the spirit of Independence . In addition , parents appreciate this Independence Day . Independence Day for them most special day .

However , in this era of globalization , many teenager and young people no longer know how to live the days of independence . Perhaps because they did not live in the colonies ? possible . They have no idea and no longer indenpendence day should be remembered all the time . As all know , usually Indenpendence Day celebration will be celebrated in every school on every August 31 of each year , it is thus to foster the spirit of independence among students and young peoples and the spirit of love for the country .

In conclusion , parents should educate their children to have a sense of independence within each . In addition , the present generation should be concerned about our country's history and how difficult it was for our country gained independence and live in peace and harmony as it is now . young children need only to appreciate the past who have struggled for independence as they are now and they should have a high sense of independence . Finally , take care of our country and cultivate a love of attitude within each country do not know their age.

FIRST WEEK IN KUPTM KL

FIRST WEEK IN KUPTMKL

Assalamualaikum and hye. I am new student at Kolej University Poly-Tech Mara Kuala Lumpur. The first day I registered in a KUPTM KL begins with registration in a place provided by the college. On the day of registration, many students who attend to enroll into KUPTM KL. after the registration sessions are done, i'm with all new diploma students went to the futsal court to hear some Prof Dr. Mohd Nasir speech.

 All the students to disperse and go home and hostel after listen the speech from Prof Dr. Mohd Nasir. I'm go back home because my house near with KPTM KL. I just take 

15 minutes to go to college by taking public transport. While students living in hostels, they go home by bus which was provided by the college.

First day orientation for intake Diploma

The next day is the first day of orientation for intake Diploma. At 7 am all students were present and assembled in futsal court of KUPTM KL. The first event during the orientation is 'Sharing is Caring' which is all facilitators and Student Representative Council introduce themselves to us and shared their experiences during their studies in KUPTM KL. Facilitator introduces the theme for this year's orientation is 'Spread The Love'. All students were divided into a few groups and each group was named with the name of the animal. In the group that I able, I met the new friends which is from other states.

Many useful game provided by facilitators at KUPTM KL when that orientation day. A lot of knowledge that i can got from this teamwork. What I got was, we have to be open-minded and creative. All team members need to work together and communicate with all members to complete the task given by the facilitator. A lot of funny antics performed by one by one group during the presentation on stage. Facilitators trained us to had the courage to speak in front of all new students.

The second day of orientation, all students gathered again in futsal court as early as 7 am. The first activities during the orientation of the second day is aerobics. After that, many games was arranged by facilitator after that, many games was arranged by facilitator. For example 'Mabule ewa', logic gate and etc.


In the afternoon, all students hear a briefing from the ICT unit, monetary unit and many more. Besides, there is also talk of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission(MACC). There are also former students of KUPTM KL came to gave support and encouragement to continue further study in this college until successful. They also tell about their life during their studies at the college, to be an example to all new students of KUPTM KL.

After the end of speech session. Facilitator be informed that there was a very talented student which is his name is Al Tamis Imran. He is very talented in beatbox. He has been called by the facilitator to come on the stage to performing his beatbox to all of us.

The next day is the last day of orientation for new students. On that day, the facilitators conduct different activities and different game than yesterday. We also have the briefing from college staff about library, computer lab and etc. Like yesterday, facilitators provide the game again. And we all enjoyed the game and the activities that provided by them.

Guess what? if the second day orientation was a beatboxing performance. Then at the third day orientation, we had another talented student which is he was a good dancer or Bboy. That student been called by facilitator to performing a little bit of his dance or Bboy

It's a great performing by him. The third day of orientation is the best orientation. All students really enjoyed the orientation day. The best orientation i have ever join. Without those great and awesome facilitators and student representative council of KUPTM KL, we will never have this best experience. Thank you for all facilitators and Student Representative Council for spend your time with us during orientation and also thank you for all what you have been given to us, hopefully all of these are useful for all of us

One picture worth a thousand word

After the orientation week finished, students were allowed to return to their homes for 3 days and the next week have begun the first learning session in each course. I feel excited and could not wait to going to class and learning first session. I also feel nervous on the first day of learning. All lecturers who entered into the class will introduce themselves and also asked all the students to introduce themselves. Each of us introducing ourselves to the whole students in the class.


There are many situations that are different from learning in school and learning in college. I hope I can adapt myself during my studies at KUPTM KL and I also hope I can communicate very well with my class mates.
